ABOUT VALLEY FLOOR ART
Welcome the beauty of nature indoors through Valley Floor Art. Don’t wait for the leaves to change to experience the vibrant colors of autumn. No more longing for the quiet stillness of winter or the inviting warmth of summer. Surround your home with the colors and textures of your favorite season year round.
Created by a Master Naturalist, invite nature inside with acrylic on canvas pieces that incorporate mixed media. Valley Floor Art will often preserve leaves, bark, and even feathers into works to embrace what nature provides.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
A certified Master Naturalist through the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Jess Leibson combines her love of nature with her passion for painting. She named Valley Floor Art after her fondness for Yosemite National Park’s valley floor. Discovering new ways to incorporate nature into her paintings, she will often preserve bark and leaves through binding techniques and an assortment of acrylic paint colors that highlight each beautiful season.
SUPPORTING WILDLIFE CONSERVATION
Partnership with the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center
Dedicated to making a measurable difference, Valley Floor Art will donate 10% of its 2022 proceeds to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC). This valued partnership has just been renewed for 2023. The AWCC is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife, including brown bears, wolves, moose, wood bison, muskox, porcupines, and more. The sanctuary takes in orphaned and injured animals, maintaining over 200 acres of spacious habitats for resident animals to feel at home displaying their natural behavior as ambassadors for their species.
